Alcohol-Free Mojito Drink Recipe
A traditional Mojito is a cocktail made with white rum, lime juice, mint, and soda water. Mojitos are simply mixed in a mixture of rum, mint, sugar, and lime without a cocktail shaker. This mojito drink recipe is alcohol-free and sugar-free. A Mojito without alcohol is called Virgin Mojito or Nojito. If you don’t like mint you can also use basil leaves, thyme, rosemary to flavor it up with lime juice. But I like mint because of its refreshing flavors, other health benefits. Mint is considered good for proper digestion, it also comforts in cold. Besides, herbaceous properties of mint, vitamin C present, content in lime is a great immunity booster. It may prevent viral infections and promotes healthy digestion. You can also substitute white rum with red wine. As compared to white rum, red wine is low in calories and has antioxidants that are good for a healthy heart.
Ingredients
- 2 cup fresh mint leaves
- 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
- 1/2 cup water
- 10 teaspoon honey
- 2 cups club soda
- lime slices for garnish
Instructions
- Make a paste of mint leaves in a grinder.
- Add water and mint paste to a jug.
- Mix lemon juice, and honey.
- Strain the mixture and club soda.
- Pour it into serving glasses add ice, and garnish with mint leaves and lime slices.
- Alcohol-Free Mojito Drink is ready.
- Enjoy it in summer.
