Delicious Maggi Veg Manchurian Recipe
Although Instant noodles are delicious and take no time to cook, they are not nutritious. But you can use salubrious ingredients to prepare it to make it healthy.
This Maggi Veg Manchurian recipe can be made with vermicelli too. You can substitute cornflour with rice flour or arrowroot powder and tamari with soy sauce. Instead of deep-frying Maggi balls, you can cook them in an appam maker or an air fryer.
Ingredients
- 2 cup water to boil Maggi
- 3 singles wheat flour Maggie ( or vermicelli noodles for health-conscious)
- 1 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 Maggi tastemaker
- 1 cup grated carrot
- 1 cup grated capsicum
- 1 cup finely chopped cabbage
- 1 cup finely chopped spinach
- 1/2 cup minced beans
- 1 finely chopped green chili
- 1 tablespoon rice flour or cornflour
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
- Oil for frying
- salt as per taste
- water as required
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 3 tablespoon tomato ketchup
- 1 teaspoon tamari sauce or soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon vinegar
- 2 teaspoon chili sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup spring onion
- 1/2 cup cheese
Instructions
- Boil 2 singles Maggi or vermicelli in two cups of water.
- Crumble the leftover raw Maggi in a plate and keep it aside.
- This will be used to coat Maggi balls.
- Once Maggi is cooked, drain it and remove it in a bowl.
- Add all veggies to boiled Maggi, make sure you divide approx two tablespoons of each veggie for gravy preparation.
- Add the Maggi tastemaker, including onions, ginger-garlic paste, one tablespoon tomato sauce, 1 teaspoon, chili sauce, cabbage, carrot, minced beans, spinach, capsicum, red chili powder, black pepper powder, salt, rice flour, or cornflour, and mix it well.
- Adjust the number of ingredients if making for kids.
- Form a dough of mixture, divide the dough and start making small balls of it.
- Make one ball and coat it into Maggi crumbles.
- Deep fry all Maggi balls until golden brown.
- You can also roast Maggi balls in less oil in an appam pan or air fryer.
- Now, take a nonstick pan, and heat one tablespoon oil in it.
- Saute the leftover veggies on high flame.
- Then add minced garlic, one teaspoon chili sauce, tamari or soy sauce, vinegar, black pepper, salt, green chili, and stir-fry it well.
- Add 1/2 cup of water and mix well.
- Drop all Maggi balls and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add spring onions and mix well.
- Maggi veg Manchurian is ready to serve.
- Serve it in a plate and garnish with spring onions and cheese over the top.
