Schezwan Fried rice is prepared in many varieties such as Schezwan fried rice veg, chicken Schezwan fried rice, vegetable fried rice, egg fried rice, masala Schezwan fried rice, etc.

If rice is already cooked or you have leftover rice at home, you can make Szechwan Fried Rice in just 5 minutes. This recipe is easy to cook and perfect for hostellers and bachelors. So let’s see how to make spicy and crunchy schezwan fried rice veg.

 

Ingredients

  1. 1.5 cup cooked basmati rice
  2. 2 tablespoon oil
  3. 7 garlic cloves – minced
  4. 1/4 cup beans- finely chopped
  5. 1/2 cup carrot – finely chopped
  6. 1 medium onion – finely chopped
  7. 1 tablespoon soya sauce
  8. 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  9. 1 tablespoon schezwan sauce
  10. 1 tablespoon tomato sauce
  11. 1 tablespoon red chili sauce
  12. 1 tablespoon green chili sauce
  13. 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
  14. 1/2 cup spring onions – chopped
  15. 1/2 teaspoon vinegar
  16. salt to taste

  1. First of all, boil basmati rice to 90% in 4 cups of water if you haven’t cooked rice and sieved it. You can also use leftover rice. Now heat a wok or a pan on the gas and add oil to it.
  2. When the oil is hot, add all the chopped veggies one by one and cook it for one minute on high flame.
  3. Then add ginger-garlic paste and cook for two one minute. You can also add 1/2 teaspoon vinegar here but I don’t use it.
  4. Next add soya sauce, red chili sauce, green chili sauce, tomato sauce, and schezwan sauce and mix it well.
  5. Now add cooked basmati rice to it. Add black pepper powder and salt and cook while stirring continuously for 3 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle some spring onions Schezwan Fried Rice is ready.
  7. Serve it with hot with veg Manchurian balls.
