This almond yogurt recipe yields thick and creamy Salmon yogurt that is delicious and healthy. This almond yogurt can be served plain or with delicious meals or fruit.

Ingredients

  1. 3 homemade almond milk
  2. 2 tablespoon arrowroot powder
  3. 1 capsule Jarrow probiotic

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, pour homemade almond milk and mix it into the arrowroot powder.
  2. Mix until it thickeners then pour it into a saucepan and heat the almond milk mixture on medium flame until it starts boiling.
  3. Keep stirring the almond milk continuously to prevent lumps.
  4. After 5 minutes, turn off the flame and transfer the almond milk to a bowl and allow it to cool down.
  5. When the almond milk reaches the room temperature, add Jarrow probiotics, and mix it well.
  6. Cover the bowl with a loose-woven cotton fabric 6-8 hours and let the yogurt production transpire.
  7. After 6 hours, check for its taste. The yogurt should have enough tart, if not let it culture for a few more hours.
  8. Then place it in the fridge for 8 hours to refrigerate.
  9. Store the almond yogurt in an airtight jar in the fridge fresh for a week.
