Homemade Almond Yogurt Recipe
Ingredients
- 3 homemade almond milk
- 2 tablespoon arrowroot powder
- 1 capsule Jarrow probiotic
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, pour homemade almond milk and mix it into the arrowroot powder.
- Mix until it thickeners then pour it into a saucepan and heat the almond milk mixture on medium flame until it starts boiling.
- Keep stirring the almond milk continuously to prevent lumps.
- After 5 minutes, turn off the flame and transfer the almond milk to a bowl and allow it to cool down.
- When the almond milk reaches the room temperature, add Jarrow probiotics, and mix it well.
- Cover the bowl with a loose-woven cotton fabric 6-8 hours and let the yogurt production transpire.
- After 6 hours, check for its taste. The yogurt should have enough tart, if not let it culture for a few more hours.
- Then place it in the fridge for 8 hours to refrigerate.
- Store the almond yogurt in an airtight jar in the fridge fresh for a week.
