American Chopsuey Recipe

This Veg American Chopsuey Recipe is made with healthsome vegges. American Chopsuey Recipe is a sweet and sour soupy recipe cooked with different spicy sauces and meat.

Although American chop suey is a Chinese dish it is also made in different styles and served in many restaurants all over the place.

American Chopsuey Recipe is a non-vegetarian recipe, but here I m sharing a vegetarian course. So let’s start making Vegetable American Chopsey.

 

 

Ingredients

  1. 200 g Noodles
  2. 2 tablespoon oil
  3. 1 red chili, chopped
  4. a handful of spring onions
  5. 1 teaspoon garlic paste
  6. 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  7. 1/2 cup carrots, chopped
  8. 1 cup bell pepper (red, yellow), chopped
  9. 1/2 cup cabbage, finely chopped
  10. 1 tomato, chopped
  11. vegetable stock or water as required
  12. 1 teaspoon whole wheat flour paste (mixed in water)
  13. 3 tablespoons tomato ketchup
  14. 3 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  15. 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  16. 1 teaspoon red chili sauce
  17. salt to taste

 

Preparation Time: 5 Minutes
Cooking Time: 25 Minutes

Serves: 4 people

 

American Chopsuey Recipe

 

  1. First noodles well in oil till they become brown and crispy. Then take them out on a plate and keep them aside.
  2. Now heat the oil in a pan. Add red chili, onion,s, and garlic paste and stir for a minute. Now add all veggies and cook them until soft.
  3. Add the seasonings and sauce and mix well.
  4. Next, turn the flame high and add vegetable stock or water and bring it to a boil.
  5. Add wheat flour paste to the mixture and cook till it becomes thick.
  6. Serve hot in a soup bowl with fried noodles, spring onions, and veggies on top.
