This easy Angel Food Cake Recipe is the healthiest and lightest cake to eat because it is eggless and gluten-free. Angel food cake is a variety of sponge cakes made with egg whites, flour, and whipping agent, sugar originated in the US. This easy Angel Food Cake Recipe is very easy, that use almond flour, aquafaba, vanilla extract, and coconut whipped cream. The outcome will be incredible, light, and fluffy. Unlike other desserts, angel food cake is low in calories and fat which makes it a healthy snack and diet food.

 

 

Normally Angel food cake is mixed with egg whites and no butter but for this angel food cake, we are substituting eggs with aquafaba and cream of tartar. Cream of tartar is plant-based vegan and crystalline organic acid present in many fruits. Aquafaba is liquid from canned chickpeas which you can easily make at home yourself. Just soak 1 cup of dried chickpeas overnight and boil it in a pan on low flame. Maintain the water level so it doesn’t dry out. Allow the mixture to cool in the pan and drain the mixture. The mixture is aquafaba with no additives. Angel food cake is made in a bundt pan and not a regular cake mold.

  3. 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  4. 3/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  5. 2 tablespoon chickpea flour

Eggless-Gluten Free Angel Food Cake Recipe

 

 

  1. Pre-heat the oven to165°C.
  2. Take aquafaba and cream of tartar into a large mixing bowl and whipped it until high and fluffy.
  3. Add vanilla, honey, or maple syrup and gain beat it for 2 minutes.
  4. Now add chickpea flour and mix for a minute.
  5. Now add almond flour and with the help of a spatula fold the flour into the aquafaba mixture.
  6. Mix it thoroughly to avoid lumps.
  7. Now pour the cake mixture into a cake bundt pan and bake it in a preheated oven for 60 minutes at 165°C.
  8. After 60 minutes, allow the cake to cool to room temperature.
  9. Take it out from the bundt pan into a serving platform and top it with chopped coconut cream and chopped strawberries.
  10. Slice it with a sharp knife and serve it in a plate.
  11. Eggless-Gluten Free Angel Food Cake is ready, enjoy.
