Stuffed Bhindi Recipe – Stuffed Okra
Ingredients
- Okra/Bhindi- 500gram
- Ginger paste- 1 teaspoon
- Red chili powder- 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder- 1 teaspoon
- Dry mango powder- 1/2 teaspoon
- Garam Masala- 1/2 teaspoon
- Chopped tomatoes- 2 nos
- Asafoetida- a pinch
- Fennel Powder- 1 teaspoon
- mustard seeds- 1/2 teaspoon
- onion seeds- 1/2 teaspoon
- Lemon juice- 1 teaspoon
- Oil- 3 tablespoon
- a salt according to taste
Stuffed Bhindi Recipe
- Wash bhindi/okra and wipe them dry.
- Cut the tip head of okra.
- Now slit in the middle of all okra into two halves in equal length.
- Take a pan to add 1 tablespoon oil and heat it on medium flame.
- Shallow fry all the okra till they become soft and take them out on a plate.
- In the same pan, heat oil, add mustard seeds, asafoetida.
- Now Cook tomatoes for 2 minutes on medium flame.
- Add all the dry spices and mix well.
- Finally, add okra and mix all the spices into okra.
- Close the lid and let it cook on a slow flame for 3-4 minutes.
- Stuffed Bhindi/okra is ready.
- Remove them to a serving plate and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
