Schezwan Fried Rice In Just 5 Minutes

Szechwan Fried Rice is a Chinese rice recipe, relished now by people all over the world. It can be served as a main dish or side in breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It takes very little time to cook and it is spicy and tangy in tasty.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cup cooked basmati rice
  • 2 tablespoon oil
  • 7 garlic cloves - minced
  • 1/4 cup beans- finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup carrot - finely chopped
  • 1 medium onion - finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon soya sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon schezwan sauce
  • 1 tablespoon tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon red chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon green chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
  • 1/2 cup spring onions - chopped
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  • First of all, boil basmati rice to 90% in 4 cups of water if you haven't cooked rice and sieved it. You can also use leftover rice. Now heat a wok or a pan on the gas and add oil to it.
  • When the oil is hot, add all the chopped veggies one by one and cook it for one minute on high flame.
  • Then add ginger-garlic paste and cook for two one minute. You can also add 1/2 teaspoon vinegar here but I don't use it.
  • Next add soya sauce, red chili sauce, green chili sauce, tomato sauce, and schezwan sauce and mix it well.
  • Now add cooked basmati rice to it. Add black pepper powder and salt and cook while stirring continuously for 3 minutes.
  • Sprinkle some spring onions Schezwan Fried Rice is ready.
  • Serve it with hot with veg Manchurian balls.
