Ingredients
4largetomatoes
1mediumonionchopped
2tablespoonpeasboiled and mashed
200gramchottage cheese
fresh coriander leavesto garnish
3green chillies
1teaspoonchat masala
1/2teaspoon garam masala
1/2 teaspoonblack peper
1tablespoonoil
saltas per your taste
Instructions
Wash the tomatoes and cut their tops.
Scoop the pulp out of the tomatoes and keep them aside.
Now we will begin with the stuffing preparation.
In a shallow frying pan, add oil and heat it on medium flame.
Add onion and saute them till light pink.
Now add scooped tomato pulp to it and cook for 2 minutes.
Add green chilies and mix well.
Add all the dry spices and mix well.
Now add cottage cheese and cook it on a medium flame for about 2-3 minutes.
Fill the stuffing into the tomatoes with the help of a spoon.
Now grease and place all these stuffed tomatoes in a microwave-safe tray.
Grill the tomatoes for 10 minutes.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves. Vegetarian Stuffed Tomatoes Recipe is ready to serve hot with rice/chappatis/parathas.
