Garlic Paneer | Chilli Garlic Paneer Recipe
Cottage cheese or paneer is a good source of protein, healthy fats, calcium, potassium, and are low carbohydrates that is wonderful for weight loss enthusiasts and diabetics.
The high protein element of paneer regulates healthy blood sugar levels in the blood. It is also healthy for muscle health, heart health, and development of bones and teeth.
Dry Garlic Paneer or Chilli Garlic Paneer is served dry with fried rice or soup. This can also be made in thick cornflour, soya sauce, chili sauce gravy. You can also substitute cornflour with rice flour or arrowroot powder. The scale of spices and sauce can be adjusted if it is made for kids. Let’s know its ingredients and recipe.
Ingredients
- 200gms – paneer, chopped in cubes (cottage cheese)
- 2 capsicum, chopped in cubes
- 3 onion, chopped in cubes
- 3 green chilies, thinly sliced
- 2 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
- 4 teaspoon chili sauce
- 4 teaspoon tomato sauce
- 2 teaspoon soya sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoon rice flour or cornflour
- 3 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/ cup chopped spring onions
- 2 tablespoon water
Instructions
- In a bowl, take rice flour or cornflour.
- Add 1/2 teaspoon chili sauce, 1/2 teaspoon ginger garlic paste, and a pinch of salt, and mix well.
- Coat paneer (cottage cheese) in this flour mixture.
- Heat 1 teaspoon olive oil in a wok and roast all paneer cubes for 2 minutes and take them out on a plate and keep aside.
- Now in the same wok, add remaining olive oil and heat it on medium flame.
- Add onions, ginger-garlic paste, green chili, capsicum and saute it on high flame stirring continuously for 3 minutes.
- Add salt, black pepper, vinegar, soya sauce, tomato sauce, and chili sauce and cook for 2 minutes on high flame.
- Make sure it doesn’t get burn so stir continuously.
- Now add paneer and mix well.
- Next, reduce the flame.
- In a small bowl, two tablespoon water and mix add 1 teaspoon rice flour or cornflour in it.
- Pour this mixture in the wok and mix well.
- Garlic Paneer or Chilli Garlic Recipe is ready to serve.
- Sprinkle chopped spring onions and serve hot with fried rice or Manchurian soup.
