Ingredients

 

For Filling

 

  1. 1 cup grated carrots
  2. 3/4 cup thinly sliced capsicum
  3. 100-gram cottage cheese or tofu, chopped in cubes
  4. 1 cup thinly sliced cabbage
  5. 1 tablespoon oil
  6. 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  7. 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  8. 1 thinly sliced
  9. 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  10. 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  11. 1 cup tomato ketchup
  12. 2 tablespoon Veeba barbeque sauce
  13. 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper powder
  14. 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  15. 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  16. 1 teaspoon red chili sauce
  17. 1 teaspoon green chili sauce
  18. 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
  19. 1 tablespoon soya sauce
  20. salt to taste

For Wrap

 

  1. 2 cup whole wheat flour
  2. 1 tablespoon oil
  3. water as required

 

Instructions

 

For Filling

 

  1. Heat oil in a frying pan on medium flame.
  2. Fry tofu or paneer cubes for 2 minutes and take out in a plate.
  3. Next, add cumin seeds, ginger-garlic paste and cook till rawness fades.
  4. Add the grated carrots, thinly sliced capsicum, and sliced cabbage and cook for 3 minutes.
  5. Now, add coriander powder, roasted cumin powder, turmeric powder, and black pepper powder, salt, and cook for one minute.
  6. Lower the flame and add tomato sauce, Veeba barbeque sauce, red chili sauce, green chili sauce, soy sauce.
  7. Add tofu or paneer cubes, red chili powder, lemon juice, and stir fry for 2 more minutes.
  8. Stir fry until vegetables are roasted and soft.
  9. Once the filling is ready keep it aside and get ready with the wrap.

 

For Wrap

 

  1. In a mixing bowl, take whole wheat flour and knead the soft dough with water.
  2. Divide 5 cm size balls of the dough and make a large-sized chapati of it using a rolling pin and rolling board.
  3. Roast this chapati on a Tawa or pan, drop a few drops of oil on both sides of the chapati to make it crispers.
  4. Now place the stuffing in the middle of the Chapati, and wrap the chapati to form a roll.
  5. Repeat the same for the remaining dough.
  6. Veg Kathi rolls are ready now, serve them immediately.
