What is Paneer tikka?  Paneer Tikka is a traditional and flavorful tandoori meal in which Indian cottage cheese cubes are first marinated in spicy yogurt-based marination, then pieces of paneer are grilled in a tandoor or as a griller. This delicacy is served with tandoori roti or naan when stirred up in gravy. Paneer tikka is served in most weddings as a starter which is liked by people of every age.

Ingredients

  • 250 gram Paneer cubed
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 cup bell peppers yellow, green, red
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil or unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
  • 2 tablespoon greek yogurt
  • 2 teaspoon tandoori seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • salt & black pepper to taste

  • In a bowl, take paneer. Add ginger-garlic paste, greek yogurt, salt, lemon juice, and tandoori seasoning.
  • Dice bell peppers and onion, into cubes and mix them well with marination mix and keep it aside for half an hour.
  • Put paneer and veggies onto the skewers and grill them on a tandoor, grilling pan, or in an oven.
  • Grill until the paneer and veggies get golden in color.
  • Once ready, take them out on a serving plate and sprinkle some seasoning and lime juice.
  • Your delicious Paneer Tikka is ready Enjoy!
