Eggless Whole Wheat Waffles

These eggless whole wheat waffles are soft and fluffy on the inside with a crisp crunchy exterior creamy in every bite. It tastes isn't too sweet which makes it a delicious vegan breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 1.5 cup almond milk
  • 2 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted vegan butter or olive oil
  • a pinch of salt
  • fresh whipped cream
  • fresh fruits chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat the waffle maker. In a bowl, place a big sieve and add whole wheat flour, baking powder, and salt and mix well. In another bowl whisk in honey, butter, almond milk, and vinegar until smooth and consistent.
  • Mix all dry ingredients into it gradually while mixing as such that no lumps are left.
  • The batter should be light, thin, and pouring in the texture.
  • Pour the batter on the hot waffle iron and spread it evenly to fill the hollows in the waffle maker.
  • Cook for about 4–6 minutes to fully cook a waffle.
  • Once ready, place them on a serving plate and garnish them with fresh cream and fresh fruits.
  • You may freeze the leftover for later use.
