Ingredients

  1. 1.5 cups whole wheat flour
  2. 1 teaspoon baking powder
  3. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  4. 2 tablespoon honey
  5. 1.5 cup almond milk
  6. 2 teaspoon vinegar
  7. 1/2 cup unsalted vegan butter or olive oil
  8. a pinch of salt
  9. fresh whipped cream
  10. fresh fruits, chopped

 

Preparation Time – 15 minutes
Cooking Time – 5 minutes
Serves – 6-8

 

Instructions

  1. Preheat the waffle maker. In a bowl, place a big sieve and add whole wheat flour, baking powder, and salt and mix well. In another bowl whisk in honey, butter, almond milk, and vinegar until smooth and consistent.
  2. Mix all dry ingredients into it gradually while mixing as such that no lumps are left.
  3. The batter should be light, thin, and pouring in the texture.
  4. Pour the batter on the hot waffle iron and spread it evenly to fill the hollows in the waffle maker.
  5. Cook for about 4–6 minutes to fully cook a waffle.
  6. Once ready, place them on a serving plate and garnish them with fresh cream and fresh fruits.
  7. You may freeze the leftover for later use.
