Ingredients
1cupbasmati rice
2cupswater
3/4cupsugar
1tablespoonghee/oil
1tablespoonraisins and almondseach
2green cardamom
saffrona pinch
edible yellow colora pinch
Instructions
Clean and wash the rice.
Soak rice for 15 minutes in water and strain it after 15 minutes.
In a pan add ghee/oil, cardamon, and edible yellow color and mix it.
Add 1 cup water and stir.
Bring it to boil then add rice.
Add 1 cup hot water, sugar, raisins and saffron.
Stir and cook on low flame and close lid of the pan.
Once the Sweet Kesar Rice has cooked you will get the aroma of Kesar and raisins.
Take out in a serving plate and garnish with almonds and raisins.
