  1. 1-inch fresh turmeric root, or 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  2. 1 cup Milk
  3. Honey or maple syrup as per taste
  4. 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper powder
  5. 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  6. 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  7. 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

  1. Heat a pan and add milk to it.
  2. Grate the turmeric root and add it to the milk.
  3. Add black pepper powder, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, and ground cloves to the mixture and bring it to a boil until fragrant and flavourful.
  4. Turn off the flame once the turmeric milk boils.
  5. Strain the turmeric milk into a glass and add honey or apple syrup.
  6. Golden Milk or Turmeric Milk is ready.
  7. Sprinkle some cinnamon and nutmeg powder on top.
  8. Serve it immediately while it’s still hot.
