I am using almond milk here along with skim milk powder to substitute khoa. Skim milk powder is very nutritious. It is loaded with essential protein, calcium, vitamin A and vitamin D. Compared to regular milk, almond milk is healthier as it is a good source of calcium, protein, minerals, vitamin D, and vitamin E.

Milk Powder Burfi Ingredients
- 1 cup of skim milk powder
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 2 tablespoon powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoon pure desi ghee
- 1/2 cup almonds
Milk Powder Burfi Recipe
- Heat a non-stick pan on medium flame and add melt pure desi ghee in it.
- Pour almond milk and mix well.
- Now, add skim milk powder and mix thoroughly to avoid lumps formation.
- Then, add powdered sugar and combine well.
- Cook for 10 minutes or until you get a fudge consistency.
- Keep stirring the mixture with cut fold method and cook until the mixture leaves the side.
- Once ready, allow the milk powder burfi to cool.
- Spread milk powder burfi on a greased flat plate and cut into squares.
- Put all burfis in a tight container and refrigerate it for 1 hour to allow it to set.
- Milk powder fudge or burfi is ready with only 5 ingredients, enjoy this homemade dessert on special occasions and festivals.
