  1. 100 grams of cottage cheese (paneer)
  2. 2 tablespoons oil
  3. 1 small sized onion
  4. 1/2 chopped capsicum
  5. 2 small sized chopped tomatoes (not ripe and not too sour)
  6. 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  7. 1 green chili optional
  8. 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  9. 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  10. 1 tablespoon coriander powder
  11. 1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
  12. 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
  13. 1 teaspoon kitchen king masala
  14. 1-2 tablespoon milk powder
  15. 1 cup of water
  16. salt as required
  17. 3 tablespoons chopped cilantro

Paneer Bhurji Recipe

  1. Mash all the paneer (cottage cheese) in a bowl and keep it aside. Heat oil in a nonstick pan.
  2. Add chopped onions and saute them till translucent.
  3. Now add ginger-garlic paste and cook for two minutes until the rawness of ginger-garlic disappears.
  4. Add tomatoes and green chili (optional) and mix well.
  5. Add salt and cook tomatoes on medium flame until soft, stir continuously.
  6. Now add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and stir well.
  7. Add capsicum, mix well, and cook for two more minutes.
  8. Then, add water and bring the mixture to a boil.
  9. Add garam masala powder, roasted cumin powder, and kitchen king masala and mix well.
  10. Then, add the crumbled paneer and cook for two minutes.
  11. Add milk powder and stir well. Lastly, add the chopped cilantro leaves and mix everything well.
  12. Paneer Bhurji is ready to serve.
  13. Serve it with naan, bread, roti or bread with thinly sliced onions and spicy tomato chutney or dip.
