Tilapia Fish Fry Recipe

Tilapia fish is a lean fish that contains fewer calories and fat, but high omega-3 fatty acids, potassium, phosphorus, niacin, and vitamin B12. It is a warm freshwater fish originating from Africa, also found in Asia, America, and Europe, dwelling in shallow rivers, ponds, and lakes.
Ingredients
- 4-6 tilapia filets
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 tablespoon minced onions
- 1/4 tablespoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 2 teaspoons garlic
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 2-3 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 2 lemon, juiced
- lemon slices and parsley leaves to garnish
Instructions
- Mix all dry spices, garlic, and minced onions in a bowl and coat each tilapia filet with seasoning mixture on every side.
- Take a wide frying pan and heat olive oil in it.
- Place all tilapia pieces in the pan and fry them on low flame.
- Next, brush lemon juice n each tilapia filet as it cooks.
- Shallow fry all filets until golden and crispy on both sides.
- Once cooked, turn off the flame and take out in a serving plate.
- Tilapia Fish Fry is ready to serve.
- Serve it hot with steamed rice and top it with lemon slices and parsley leaves.
