Eggless Whole Wheat Waffles
Ingredients
- 1.5 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoon honey
- 1.5 cup almond milk
- 2 teaspoon vinegar
- 1/2 cup unsalted vegan butter or olive oil
- a pinch of salt
- fresh whipped cream
- fresh fruits, chopped
Preparation Time – 15 minutes
Cooking Time – 5 minutes
Serves – 6-8
Instructions
- Preheat the waffle maker. In a bowl, place a big sieve and add whole wheat flour, baking powder, and salt and mix well. In another bowl whisk in honey, butter, almond milk, and vinegar until smooth and consistent.
- Mix all dry ingredients into it gradually while mixing as such that no lumps are left.
- The batter should be light, thin, and pouring in the texture.
- Pour the batter on the hot waffle iron and spread it evenly to fill the hollows in the waffle maker.
- Cook for about 4–6 minutes to fully cook a waffle.
- Once ready, place them on a serving plate and garnish them with fresh cream and fresh fruits.
- You may freeze the leftover for later use.
