The History of Chocolate
The history of chocolate is about 4000 years old. … It was said that the chocolate era began by the people of Mexico and Central America. In 1528, the King of Spain brought cocoa seeds to Mexico while coming back to Spain. People enjoyed its taste and it became the favorite drink of wealthy people.
In 1848, the British chocolate company owned JS Fry & Sons made the first edible chocolate by mixing cocoa butter and sugar in liquid cocoa. The chocolate bars we eat today originated in the year 1850.
Immediately in 1875, Daniel Peter and Henri Nessel made milk chocolate bars by freezing milk.
Presently, apart from dark chocolate and milk chocolate, many varieties of chocolates are available in the market.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup walnut, chopped
- 1/2 cups almonds, chopped
- 250-gram dark chocolate
- 1 teaspoon vegan butter
Instructions
- Break the dark chocolate into small pieces. Put it into a saucepan.
- Take water in a pot bring it to a boil and place the saucepan over it. Melt it with a double boiler. Keep stirring the chocolate constantly until it’s completely melted and smooth.
- Add vegan butter and mix well. This will give shine to the chocolate mixture.
- Add chopped walnuts and almonds into the bowl of melted chocolate and mix well. With the help of a spoon, pour the chocolate mixture into silicone chocolate molds.
- Fill the seats in the molds and place them in the refrigerator for about 60 minutes to allow them to harden. Chocolates are ready.
