Scrambled eggs are a great nutritional meal that is low in fat and cholesterol, ideal to add to your breakfast platter. It takes only 3 to 5 minutes to cook after you pour the egg mixture into the pan. Many add milk to make it fluffy but Milk won’t make it fluffy and creamy. Milk only gives the egg mixture rubbery texture and transparency. Scrambled eggs are easier to digest as eggs are a good source of biotin, an essential nutrient used in fat and sugar metabolism.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 10 eggs
- 2 tablespoons water
- pink salt as per your taste
- 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
- 1/2 cup chopped mixed fresh herbs (parsley, thyme, dill, tarragon, scallions, fresh basil )
Instructions
- In a non-stick pan, heat olive oil on a medium flame.
- Meanwhile, in another bowl, whisk together the eggs, water, pink salt, black pepper powder.
- Pour the egg mixture into the pan and cook it for 4 to 5 minutes.
- Fold in herbs and seasoning. Serve it immediately.
- You can also serve these healthy scrambled eggs with multi-grain toast or whole-wheat toast along with a handful of cherry tomatoes and some shredded mozzarella on top.
